Just like other Batman’s Arkham series, Arkham Knight video game is an action-themed game which was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published/released by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. It is based on DC comic hero Batman and is a successor to the earlier version of 2013. The game was released all over the world in June 2015 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

General Impression

The game picks up after Arkham City and, to be precise, the end of the Joker’s rule of terror and life. The guy is dead. But Gotham, desperate to cling to its nature of one of the worst City to live in, moves right into a violent relationship with a Scarecrow. Jonathan Crane, now known as the Villain, is threatening to destroy the city, which prompts a town-wide evacuation.

The vacuum left by enemies, of terrorizing citizens, is fast filled by scumbags, thugs, and hoodlums or Batman Bait. The hero wastes no time in starting a war against the lovers of darkness, specifically the villains plotting to destroy him.

The best thing about this game evacuation is that it transforms the city into a battleground for Batman, who has transformed from his amazing grapnel-assisted moves to totally being able to jump and fly around the city. It is a welcome upgrade since the city is now 5 times bigger than the previous Arkham City.

Graphics and Design

The visual on this video game is quite impressive. You might find a few faults in the animation but the detail in every character textures and models, the dazzling rain effect, the sheer amount of action, and the neon-heavy lighting will make you ignore them.

The graphics are also great. The setting is incredibly detailed and beautiful – you will surely fall in love with it. You have to travel around the city to appreciate the graphics and design in this video game.

Batman Arkham Knight was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published/released by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment.

Positive and Negative Impression

Compared to the other series, Gameplay has really improved; it’s the best. The game also features great animations all over and it is quite satisfying to engage in a battle with the enemies. Graphics are also great; if you are concerned about them.

The story is one of the major turn-offs in this game. The developer promised new characters but nothing has really changed.

Story Summary

During Halloween, Scarecrow forces the citizen evacuation of Gotham Town after threatening to lease his fatal toxin. Batman tracks him to his hideout where he rescues the captured Poison Ivy, who had declined to join Batman in previous plot. He meets with Oracle who states that Ace Chemicals are the source of the toxin. The story continues and has lots of twists and turns…

This is the end of the Batman Arkham adventure. Developers have left it on a high as it’s even more epic and bigger than the previous versions. We couldn’t have asked for more.
